reBOOT accepts donations of used computer equipment from individuals, businesses, institutions and government agencies. Individuals and businesses can receive a tax receipt for their donation, subject to certain guidelines.Types of equipment we accept:
- Desktop computer systems: Pentium 4 or higher
- Laptop computer systems: Pentium 4 or higher
- LCD/TFT (flat) computer monitors
- CRT monitors, 17″ or larger with a date code 2004 or newer
- Other computer parts and accessories according to individual assessment

Types of equipment not accepted:
- Laptop and desktop systems not meeting the above minimum specifications
- CRT monitors smaller than 17″, or with a date code 2003 or older
- Scanners
- Printers
- Stereo equipment
- Non-working equipment
- Equipment deemed too dirty or worn to have any tangible value to reBOOT
- Equipment not intended to run on standard North American power
**We reserve the right to not accept a donation if there is any doubt as to the donor’s legal right to donate the equipment**
**Large corporate and institutional donors can donate equipment normally not accepted subject to individual agreements with reBOOT**
