This is a notice to our customers: Due to the flooding of the Western Digital factory site in Thailand the prices for new hard drives have increased as of last week. Because of this we have to raise prices by approximately 12 dollars (less tax) for a new hard drive – the exact number depends on the model. At this time the pricing on refurbished hard drives will not be affected. We regret any inconvenience.

We have some interesting laptops coming in very soon. In the Pentium M class we have Dell Latitude D-510 and D-810 coming in. In the dual core class we have Dell Latitude D-630 and IBM ThinkPad T60. Stay tuned. We will send out updates when we have more information.
The October price list has been released. The monthly special is an HP DC-5100 desktop computer with 1GB of RAM, 80GB of Hard Drive and a P4HT 3.2GHz processor. The operating system is Windows XP. Price with a CRT monitor is $139.00 or $199.00 with a Philips 107S flat screen LCD.

We have our new furniture installed and almost all the computers back out in the retail area of the reBOOT shop. Feel free to come in and check out the new and improved reBOOT retail experience. You could say we are putting the REtail back in REBOOT.
To celebrate our new retail space we have a nice bundle deal on in September: Get a ThinkCentre P4HT desktop computer with a Philips flat screen for $199 + tax. The computer has Windows XP Professional, 80GB hard drive, 1GB RAM, software (including free antivirus) as well as keyboard, mouse and cables.

We will remain open for business, but it may take a bit longer for you to complete your business with you due to our usual retail space being occupied.
It’s confirmed: We will get some Dell Latitude D-630 laptops in next week with a zipping fast Core 2 Duo processor at 2.5GHz. Sure, they will be a tad more expensive than you are used to, but they are well worth it. Other specs are: 14.1″ wide screen, wireless (AGN), 2GB RAM, 120GB Hard Drive, 128MB discrete video (Nvidia), Windows Vista Business Edition. $369.00 + tax.
We have sold out of the IBM monitors with built-in speakers, but we still have plenty of computer systems (complete with flatscreens) available at only $75.00 + tax. We are here until 3PM.

In addition to the great computer set for $75 we will offer different add-ons and updates. These will include adding a dial-up modem, a DVD burner or a wireless card. A ‘speed boost’ upgrade with more RAM and a faster CPU is also available.
